The responsibilities of the Board of Directors are :
a. Suggest the National Council amendments to the statutes and internal rules;
b. Prepare and chair the sessions of the National Council;
c. Recruit and dismiss permanent staff of the Association;
d. Control the functioning and discipline of staff based on the Chief Commissioner’s report;
e. Ensure smooth management of the Association;
f. Control and give opinions on the activities of the Districts;
g. Prepare activities at the national level;
h. Check reports submitted to the Chief Commissioner or to the Executive Secretariat.
The members of the Board of Directors shall be elected by the National Council of the Association among the adult volunteers of the Association by majority of votes, for a four (4) year term renewable only once.
